The Sutherland is an attractive hotel in the centre
of Newquay, a few minutes walk from the pubs, clubs, shops and principle
beaches. If you travel by car we have a large car park, if by plane
we are 5 miles from the airport and we are 5 minutes walk from the
Railway Station.
On the ground floor is our free-house, the Top of the Town, serving
a wide variety of draft and bottled beers, cask ale, spirits and
bottled drinks. It has a pool table, fruit machines and 3 dart-boards
and a large patio area overlooking Newquay Bay.
On the first floor is a comfortably furnished lounge with Residents
Bars where you can drink until dawn (at the Barman’s discretion).
If you can focus your eyes, once again there is a great view of
the sea.
The bedrooms are well appointed with TV, tea/coffee facilities,
central heating and mostly en-suite. There is no curfew and if
you can’t remember the Front Door Code the Barman can let
you in! After you’ve had a couple of hours sleep, breakfast
is served in our spacious Dining Room.
Parties of any sort and size are welcome – Stags/Hens (fancy
dress optional!), Sports Groups (fixtures can be arranged) and
if you think you’ll be hungry on arrival, food can be arranged
providing it has been booked beforehand.
If you would like a stripper, male or female, we can organise
it! If you want to paintball, go-kart, horse ride, surf etc. we
can help there as well, we just want you to enjoy yourselves.
